Animal Macgregor - Cavern Tavern Fast Lady Remix

Not too long ago, I was down in Bristol with my old pirate chums a couple of Dutch ladies and some Ethiopian dog walkers. The Slautery Arms is a very multicultural place indeed! So after a few barrels of ale things got interesting. Alot of the night is not clear, but I do recall the young bar staff being very helpful and lending me a microphone. Next day on my hard-disk I found this song which is a real cracker. I expect more than skulduggery was at hand and hook here but that's how it goes sometimes. I am after all an authentic pirate. I shall be heading down The Slautery again next time I am in blighty, it's the best Tavern that side and I recommend you go soon. Who knows if the winds blow me right, we might able em to put this there disk onto the local juke box. I say, 70 ARRRGH...x

Larkin Grimm - Blond and Golden johns

Intimate, charming, enchanting, playful. Take in regular doses..

Jean Michel Jarre - Happiness is a sad song (1969)

Yeh, the title. The main man Jean Michel Jarre with a more experimental moment, certainly influential. Pushing the knobs, hitting pitch shifter and dropping the octaves! Is this a sad song?

Music Inspired by Murder Ballads and Lovecraft

I spent the whole weekend locked away like a bear in a cave. I was experimenting with various structures and researching -The Murder Ballad theme. One which has quite some history, alot more milage, yet on the surface we find the blood of Nick Cave splattered everywhere and very little more mentioned below the surface. The gist of the Murder Ballad is that it tells a story of just that - Murder. Seems that mankind has a morbid interest in blood. The music I am preparing has Frankenstein or Dr. Jekyell orientation, whilst remaining smoky cold with shivers in a H.P. Lovecraft way. The main theme from a forthcoming release has been hung on the Tube here for you. This is an edit of the rather long track which formed the backbone of my first experiments. A developed version of this along with others coving the chilling theme will be available in 2012.

Jansky Noise - I draw The Line Today

Do you remember the first kiss? A line taken from PJ. I dedicate this version to someone special, as I look up into the stars and out to deep space. I hope you enjoy. Drawing the line and putting an end to things today.

Homenaje Tracks up on Youtube

I finally managed to upload some of the tracks from the Homenaje Album I released sometime ago. The album was inspired by the oneness of the people shortly after the terrible attack here in Madrid 11M. Some of you were asking for the songs as the disk is impossible to find, so now you have the majority of them. One of my old time favourites was this one by Difra. The track from Difra pretty much sums up how I am feeling today. Timeless track, love that effect on the guitar. Falling, like something from a David Lynch film that was never made....Hope you enjoy this and the other tracks up...

Chet Baker,"I'm a Fool to Want You".

Enjoying this smoke filled version of the track...

Mick Harris & Martyn Bates , The Cruel Mother

Def Poetry Jam - Saul Williams (Coded Language)

FATCAT and FISHFACE CRACKAAR!

Crossfires - Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

This is nuts, what were these guys taking. Love the way this just changes from straight to not! Real horror fun, real double lives and playing. These guys apparently recorded on the White Whale Label for a spell the suddenly turned into turtles. So that's what happens when you play this way!!!
